The Whitman Hanson Panthers recorded their 1st win of the season against North Quincy 2 – 0.
The Panthers put in a solid performance, possessing the ball for a good portion of the game.
Nick Anderson put the panthers on the board at the 17th minute mark of the 2nd half on a nicely driven ball from 20 yds away. Dan Herlihy got the assist. Anthony Iannone scored 2 minutes later by sending the ball up and over the goalie from about 19 yds out. Will Roache had the assist.
Goal keeper Chris Ryan along with the defensive unit recorded their 2nd shutout of the season.
It was the best effort so far for the Panthers, 1-4-1 League, 1-5-1 overall
