Panther Football Cruises in Quincy
The Panther football team recorded a convincing, 29-8 victory at Quincy on a rain soaked field this afternoon. Senior quarterback John Caliri, who has tortured defenses with his strong right arm all season, did the damage on the ground today as he rushed for 3 touchdowns, including one from 45 yards out. Sean Wilson also rushed for a long TD run of 46 yards. David Coclough rounded out the scoring with a field goal for the Panthers, who improve to 6 and 2. The win this afternoon guarantees the Panthers a winning season in Coach Mike Driscoll's first season at the helm. Whitman-Hanson will play host to Hingham on Friday night.
