Wednesday Recap
* The Whitman Hanson boy's lacrosse team won its 4th straight game, beating Quincy HS 19-2, improving their record to 7-5. Jeremy Ashe helped control the loose ball situations by getting over 10 ground balls. Offensively, Chris McAndrews led with 7 goals and 3 assists. Also, Chris Duffy had 3 goals, 6 assists, Andrew Clemens had 3 goals, 3 assists, Hank Moylan and Bryan Ferris each had 3 points, and Anthony Polito and Adam McCormack each had 1 goal. All defenseman played with controlled aggressiveness that led to an excellent outcome. The panthers finish out the week against Silver Lake on Friday.
* The Whitman Hanson girls lacrosse team won a tight game this afternoon defeating Quincy 12-11. Junior Jackie Sullivan finished the game with 4 goals. Stephanie warn added 3 goals and 1 assist in the win. Sophomore Stephanie Hyslip and freshmen Erin Clifford each added 2 goals for the Panthers. It was a great team win, and the girls battled to the very end. This win improves the panthers to 9-3 overall, 6-2 in the patriot league. The girls are back on action this Friday when they take on Silver Lake at home.
