The Whitman-Hanson girls volleyball team dropped their season opener today, 3-0 to Rockland. The girls fell behind early in the first set before coming storming back with 7 straight points to get to within 2 points at 21-19 but Rockland recovered and held on for the win. The team is back in action Wednesday at Pembroke.
