The Whitman Hanson girls’ soccer team improved to 8-0 with a 7-0 shutout of Quincy. Lily Higgins opened the scoring with her first of two goals in the first half. Strong play by the Quincy defense kept the score 1-0 into halftime. The Panthers came out with great energy in the second half and were able to score 6 goals in the half. Lily Higgins(2 goals), Kelsey Gilbert (2 goals), Alexis Fruzzetti ( 2 goals) and Megan Downing accounted for the goals. Alyssa Eaton, Haley Bukow, Nicole Galewski and Nina Zappi played strong defensive games and helped goalkeeper Lauren Clark earn her 7th shutout of the season.
