The Whitman-Hanson-Pembroke Girls’ Hockey Team beat Notre
Dame Academy of Hingham last night by a score of 4-2. The girls played an
exciting and dominating third period to break a 1-1 tie and take the
lead. Jess Govoni played very well in net allowing just 2 goals through
the entire game. Pembroke’s Jane Morissette scored twice, and
Whitman-Hanson’s Ally Webster and Gabby Majenski both netted 1 each. The
girls evened their record to 6-6 and hope to improve it when they take on
Marshfield tonight at Bridgewater. The game is at 5pm. Come out and
support the girls!
