The Panther track team had great weather for opening day at home vs. Scituate and Middleboro on Tuesday and didn’t disappoint spectators by securing two big victories. The wins put the Panthers at 3-0 on the season. Blake Hickey won four events while turning out particularly impressive performances in the hurdles and triple jump, Nate Stephansky and Chris Ryan tossed in two wins of their own and Paul Duffey, Luke Laubacher, and Ryan Henderson all had great days continuing to post great numbers. Jacob Roumanos had an outstanding day in the shot put throwing 43’ 1” as well. The team now prepares for the Haverhill Invitational on Saturday.
