The Whitman Hanson Girls lacrosse team opened their season today with a win against Marshfield. The Panthere defeated Marshfield in the last minute of the game with a final score of 10-9. Whitman Hanson was led by junior Stephanie Warn who finished the game with 5 goals. Junior Marina Kelly and senior Jackie Sullivan each netted two goals in the win. Senior goalie Meghan Mahoney had a great game for the panthers, and finished with 14 saves. The Panthere head to Scituate this Thursday for their first Patriot League match up.
