Strong day for WH XC

The boys and girls cross country teams had fantastic showings at the Patriot League meet...at Silver Lake on Saturday. The varsity boys placed 2nd as a team...with 46 points...only 6 behind Hingham. 1- Brian Sheppard (medal) 5- Sam Evans (medal) 10- Pat Brett (medal) 15- Tyler Durant (medal) 20- Lukas Moscoso 21- Steve Smart 23- Jay Keenan The varsity girls placed 1st as a team...with 49 points...29 points ahead of 2nd place Hingham. 3- Kelsey Tierney (medal) 4- Sam Coletti (medal) 11- Abbie Newman (medal) 13- Megan Concannon (medal) 18- Shawna Ryan 45- Kristin Arthur 9 WH runners were also selected as League All-Stars: Brian Sheppard, Sam Evans, Pat Brett, and Tyler Durant for the boys...Sam Coletti, Kelsey Tierney, Caroline Mulrey, Megan Concannon, and Abbie Newman for the girls. Congratulations to both teams...they will now focus on getting everyone healthy and preparing for State Coaches and EMASS.
