Volleyball Team Drops One at NQ

Whitman-Hanson Panthers went to North Quincy tonight and lost 3-0 against a tough hitting team. The Panthers had a hard time getting their offense going tonight and as a result were on their heels defensively for most of the match. The Panthers defense made several great plays to keep some rallies alive and played well on serve receive. Whitman-Hanson only managed to get 10 kills tonight and if you can't kill the ball it is hard to win against a good hitting team like North Quincy. A highlight for tonight's game was the play of Freshman Sophie O'Brien who was called up to Varsity to play for Abby Trapp who was out for tonight's game. Sophie played great at the net getting 6 blocks in her first Varsity experience. Whitman-Hanson plays Hingham at home on Thursday night.
