The Whitman Hanson girls and boys track teams had outstanding days at the Division 3 State Meet.
Girls: Sam Coletti finished 3rd in the Mile with a time of 5:11 and Kelsey Tierney was 6th in the 2 Mile with a career best time of 11:27. The girls 4x200 meter team of Jordan Braley, Alicia Ferraro, Kelsey Gilbert and Alex Santos finished 8th with a time of 1:52.9, this is the first time in school history a 4x200 team has placed in a state meet.
Boys: Brian Sheppard ran a career best time of 9:54 to place 5th and Nick Haley also ran a career best 36.91 300 meters to finish 6th.
Next up is the all State meet on Saturday, qualifiers will be announced Monday.
