The Whitman-Hanson Girls Lacrosse team lost 12-4 as they hosted Hingham this afternoon in a league game. Both defenses were very strong in the first 10 minutes of the game and it looked like it was going to be a tight game. Eventually, however, some offensive miscues and defensive penalties started to pile up for Whitman-Hanson and they could never fully recover. The Panthers were led by Senior Captain Steph Warn with 3 goals. The other goal came from Amelia Gould who played very well overall. A lot of credit has to go to Rachel Kelly in goal and defensive players Gabby Majenski and Lily Higgins. Hingham is very capable of racking up goals, but the Panthers did not make it easy on them. The Panthers are now 10-5 overall (3-4 league).
