Whitman-Hanson Girls Lacrosse team beat Quincy at home 16-11 in a Patriot League game. The Panthers scored within a minute of the first half and kept inching away from Quincy goal by goal for the remainder of the half. The Panthers took a 5 goal lead into half-time and with the help of their goaltender, Rachel Kelly, and the defense, Quincy could never get any closer the rest of the way. Senior Captain Steph Warn once again led the offense with 5 goals and several draw controls. Marina Kelly and Rylee Homes both had hat tricks again and two assists each. Amelia Gould and Steph Hyslip (1 assist) chipped in two goals each. Rachel Spillane helped tremendously on offense by dishing out 3 assists and putting back a timely rebound goal. The Panthers are now 11-5 on the season overall (4-4 league).
