W-H Girls Lax

The Whitman-Hanson Girls Lacrosse team beat Cardinal Spellman today at home 26-9.  The Panthers scored early in the first half and controlled most of the draws in this game. It was the final regular home game for the  9 Whitman-Hanson seniors and 8 of them got on the scoring board. Senior Captains Steph Hyslip (4 goals, 4 assists) and Steph Warn (2 goals, 2 assists) lead the charge once again. Seniors Lily Higgins, Amelia Gould, Marina Kelly, Linda Shirley, and Courtney McCormick all had a goal a piece. Another senior, Sam Keenan, had a great game with 5 goals herself. Rounding out the offense was underclassman Rylee Holmes (1 goal, 3 assists), Rachel Spillane (3 goals), Kaity Carpenter (1 goal), Liz Hyslip (3 goals), Arica McCarthy (1 goal), and Gabby Majenski (1 goal).  The Panthers finish the regular season with a record of 13-5 which is the best record in the history of Whitman-Hanson Girls Lacrosse.
