Boys soccer plays tough but falls short

The Whitman Hanson Boys Soccer Team played their best game of the season against Silver Lake today.  Although the Panthers lost in the last 3 minutes of the game, this was a battle till the end.

At halftime the score was 0 – 0 with both teams having opportunity.  The feisty Panthers continued battling until the 77^th minute when the ball was kicked out of the goalie's hand to give Silver Lake a 1 goal lead with 3 minutes remaining.  The goal was scored by Patrick Hutchinson.  The final S/L goal was scored by Brendan Guilderson with 7 seconds left in the game.  There were many standouts for the Panthers, I am very proud of how them handled themselves in this highly contested match.
