The Whitman Hanson Boys Soccer Team played their best game of the season against Silver Lake today. Although the Panthers lost in the last 3 minutes of the game, this was a battle till the end.
At halftime the score was 0 – 0 with both teams having opportunity. The feisty Panthers continued battling until the 77th minute when the ball was kicked out of the goalie's hand to give Silver Lake a 1 goal lead with 3 minutes remaining. The goal was scored by Patrick Hutchinson. The final S/L goal was scored by Brendan Guilderson with 7 seconds left in the game. There were many standouts for the Panthers, I am very proud of how them handled themselves in this highly contested match.
