> The Whitman-Hanson Panthers went to North Quincy tonight and lost 3-0. In the first set the Panthers played well and fought hard to keep pace with North Quincy but inconsistent play all around kept the Panthers from getting a lead. North Quincy had match point at 24-20 but the Panthers refused to quit ultimately tying the game up at 24-24. Service errors ultimately led the Panthers to lose 27-25. In the 2nd and 3rd sets the Panthers couldn't get their heads back into the game after rallying back and almost taking the first set. The Panthers had strong play tonight from Sophie O'Brien who had 6 kills and 2 blocks out of the middle and Erin Clifford who had 7 kills. The Panthers play again on Wednesday when they host Plymouth North.
