Junior Alexis Fruzzetti led the way with a hat trick as Whitman Hanson improved to 3-0 with a 6-0 shutout over Silver Lake. Two of Fruzzetti's goals came in the first half off of assists from Freshman Eve Montgomery ( 2 assists) and Junior Lindsey Anderson. With the score 2-0 at the half Whitman Hanson erupted for four second half goals. Fruzzetti netted her third while Freshman Taylor Kofton and Freshman Lauren Bonavita (2 goals) accounted for the rest of the scoring. The defense of Jill Shangold, Katie Korzec, Katherine O'Kane and Elana Wood helped goalkeeper Arianna Comendul earn her second shutout of the season.
