The Whitman Hanson Cross Country team closed out Patriot League regular season action with both the Boys and Girls teams winning convincingly over Scituate High School.The Boys won 16-45 with Senior Captain Patrick Brett taking first place in the 5K race with a time of 18:21. Sophomore Lukas Moscoso (2nd, 18:30), Freshman Jack Ryan (3rd, 18:41) and Sophomore Chris Kenney (4th, 19:16) followed close behind. Scituate's Aaron O'Connell placed 5th overall with a time of 19:22.In the Girl's race it was Samantha Coletti with a time of 19:35 taking first place in Whitman-Hanson's 16-42 win. Senior Captains Kelsey Tierney and Caroline Mulrey both finished at 20:11 to take 2nd and 3rd place. For Scituate, Jackie Coscia was first across the finish line in a time of 20:24 in 4th place.The Patriot League Meet will be held on this Saturday, October 25th at Silver Lake High School at 9:30.
