> Whitman-Hanson hosted Duxbury and played a good game but couldn't keep up with the Duxbury offense losing 3-0. Game scores were 17-25, 16-25 and 14-25. The Panthers played a good defensive game against a big hitting Duxbury team and was able to keep pace in each of the sets until the last bunch of points when Duxbury was able to pull forward for the win in each set. The Panthers had some bright spots in their hitting game with several kills coming from the outside hitters and middles. Key blocks by Leah Pedersen and Sophie O'Brien helped the Panthers stay close to Duxbury. Standouts tonight for the Panthers were Sophia Raiche who had a great night passing the hard hitting Duxbury team. Also playing well was Erin Clifford who had 7 kills. Whitman-Hanson moves to 4-7 on the season and hosts Pembroke on Friday night.
