The Whitman Hanson girls soccer team tied Hingham 1-1 in a hard fought Patriot League matchup. Both teams battled to a 0-0 score a the half. At the start of the second half Hingham scored on a free kick. Both teams continued to battle and Freshman Katie Korzec tied the match when she received a Kelsey Gilbert free kick and put it home. Whitman Hanson thought it had scored the game winner with a few minutes left on the clock but the goal was called back. The defense of Kelsey Gilbert, Kat O'kane, Katie Korzec and Elana Wood was outstanding all night.
