Orlando - The Whitman-Hanson boys basketball team defeated Circle Christian High school tonight, 75-64 behind a monster game from junior Center Mitchell Kinney (21 points and 13 rebounds). The Panthers broke open a tie game at the half by erupting for 41 points in the second half as 10 different players found the scoring column win including junior Brenndan Rogers who tossed in 19 points and junior captain Nick Smith added 11. "This trip for us as a team is always about a lot more than winning and losing. It's an opportunity to build on our team chemistry and the pursuit of each player appreciating what each of their teammates brings to the table. That's why a complete team win like this means so much," Head Coach Bob Rodgers said.
The Panthers went 1-1 on their annual winter trip to Florida improving to 4-1 on the season.
