Whitman- Junior point guard Cole Manning recorded a double
double with 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead #6 seed Whitman-Hanson to a 67-57
win over #11 seed Nauset in the first round of the MIAA Division 2 south state
tournament. Junior Josh Rice was the high scorer with 17
points while Junior captain Nick Smith added 13 and Junior Mitch Kinney chipped
in with 11. The Panthers advance to the
quarterfinals to take on Oliver Ames Friday night.
