The team spent time, cleaning shelves, checking expiration dates, and reorganizing the warehouse. Head coach Kevin Broderick said “it was a great experience for our kids and a good chance for them to realize they can give back to the community where they live”. The team also made a financial donation to the food pantry from their own fundraising activities. An equal donation will also be made to the Hanson food pantry, which wasn’t available today for a team visit.
