Whitman Hanson / Silver Lake girls varsity
hockey team beat Scituate today 5 to 0 in a league game at the Pilgrim ice
arena in Hingham. WHSL was lead by Hannah Tracy's 2 goals and an assist. Mel McAleer
had a goal and a assist. The other scorers were Mary Kate Webb and Colleen
Hughes. Melissa Crone got the shutout turning aside 26 shots on net. The win
qualified WHSL for the state tournament. This puts our overall record at 9 and
4. Our next game is against Cohasset / Hanover on 2/6 at Rockland ice arena.
