WH softball (0-1) dropped its opener 8-6 at Plymouth North. The Panthers came back from a 5-0 deficit to tie but it wasn't enough as the Eagles scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th Jr Sarah Saccardo went 2-3 (3B R). Sr Captain Maxine Vincent went 3-3 with 2 RBI. Jr Sarah Saccardo went 2-3 and a run scored.

ReplyDeleteIn the past, I have told softball players a lot of times how important it is to have good and proper nutrition. Although softball is a non-contact sport unlike football and soccer, you must have enough energy not only to be able to stay active for the whole seven innings of the game but also to be a mentally tough player and be able think on your feet. Softball is not just about capitalizing on your skills. Your body need to be properly fueled to play the game and having the right nutrition is half the battle. Read more
ReplyDeleteSoftball is a game that is enjoyed by many all over the world. The number of new youth leagues that are springing up all over is too numerous to count. Not to mention that softball has long been a sport that is favored by both adult men and teenaged women. It is even played in tournament form by many too. What is not so well-known is that there are many senior leagues all over the world too. Just like younger players do, senior softball players need good equipment too. One of the most important pieces of equipment for them is the fields and bats they use to play the game
