> The Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse team defeated Silver Lake in a league game at home 11-5. The Panthers offense did a great job of controlling the ball. Taylor McVeigh and Mel McAleer controlled the draw for the majority of the game. The offense was lead by Lauren Bonavita with the hat trick. Also scoring for WH was Ali Joanis (2 goals), McVeigh (2 goals), Jess Nihan (1 goal ), Mik White (1 goal ), Mandy Gacicia (1 goal) & Gabby Majenski (1 goal). Adding assists to the offense was Rachel Kelly (2), McAleer (1), McVeigh (1), and Rylee Holmes. Leading the defense was Nihan and Camille Miller. The win brings the Panthers to 2-1 on the season (2-0 league).
