> The Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse team played a very competitive nonleague game at home this afternoon against Oliver Ames. Despite being down 3 goals at one point in the second half, the Panthers fought back but ended up losing 10-9. Senior captain Gabby Majenski and Rachel Kelly each had hat tricks for WH. Splitting time at center was Taylor McVeigh (2 goals) & Mel McAleer (1 goal). Ali Joanis and Kelly each had an assist. Goalie Kasey Molito had 6 saves in the game. The loss drops the Panthers to 1-1 on the season (1-0 league).
