> The Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse team played a league game versus Duxbury this afternoon. WH came out and drew blood first with Lauren Bonavita ' s first goal of her pair. Duxbury came right back and scored 6 straight goals. The Dragons were up 13-3 at the half. The Panthers came back and slowly chipped away at the lead. Kasey Molito had a superhuman performance in goal with 21 saves against a brutal Duxbury offense. Unfortunately all of those saves weren't enough as Duxbury won 19-8. Along with Bonavita, Rachel Kelly had a hat trick, Gabby Majenski had 2 goals, and Mel McAleer had a nice coast-to - coast goal. The loss drops WH to 7-7 on the season (4-4 league).
