> The Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse team played a non-league game at home versus Hull this afternoon. The Panthers came out hungry after losing 2 straight close games. Taylor McVeigh ( 2 goals, 2 assists) got the offense started by scoring within 20 seconds of her draw control. That started a string of 5 goals in the first 4 minutes. The offense never stopped as the Panthers went up 11-0 in the first half. WH slowed the offense down, but controlled the ball in the second half as they went on to a 14-0 win. Kasey Molito (5 saves) and Alyssa Nicholson (2 saves) split time in goal in the shutout. Scoring for the Panthers was Rachel Kelly ( 3 goals ), Riley MacDonald (2 goals), Mel McAleer ( 2 goals ), Lauren Bonavita ( goal), Ali Joanis ( goal ), Olivia Zimmerman (goal), Gabby Majenski ( goal ), Rylee Holmes ( assist), and Meg Johnson with her first ever goal. The Panthers are now 10-9 (5-5 league).
