The Whitman Hanson golf squad improved to 6-4 today as they defeated Quincy at Furnace Brook Golf Course, battling the elements, 246-280.
Senior captainLuke Tamulevich led all scorers with a 2 over par, 36, while sophomore Owen Manning continued his consistent play of late with a 3 over par, 37.
The team hosts Hanover tomorrow, where they hope to continue their quest for a berth in the state tournament. After today, the magic number for the team is 3, with 7 matches left to play.
