The Whitman-Hanson golf team earned their second victory of the season today, defeating East Bridgewater on their shared home course at Ridder Farm Golf Club 252-267. The non-league win improved the Panthers to 2-1 overall on the season.
The match took place off the back 9 of the course, which is a true par 36. Despite the more challenging layout, senior captain John Murphy rose to the challenge once again as medalist of the match shooting an impressive 1 over par, 37. Fellow captain Luke Tamulevich wasn't far behind with his 3 over par performance to help solidify the win. Junior Anthony Palmacci continued his solid play this season, as he carded a 4 over par, 40.
The Panthers have a light week ahead of them with only two matches on Wednesday and Thursday, but are glad to have the start of the week to practice and hone their skills.
