The Whitman-Hanson Boys Cross Country team (3-1) traveled to Duxbury Tuesday afternoon and lost to a talented and deep Dragon team 17-42. Duxbury took the top 3 spots to seal the win with Junior Andrew Newman (4th, 17:02), Senior Captain Bryce Pulkinen (7th, 17:11), Junior Captain Jack Ryan (9th, 17:20), and Lukas Moscoso (10th, 17:32) leading the way for the Panthers.
GIRLS
Whitman-Hanson Girls Cross Country (0-4) was edged by the Duxbury Dragons in Duxbury Tuesday afternoon 27-30. Junior Captain Nicole Norve (2nd, 20:10) and Senior Captain Olivia Morse (3rd, 20:55). Katie Cass of Duxbury was the overall winner in 19:40. Others running well for W-H in the close meet were Julia Cosgrave, Camryn Boyce and Victoria Carleton.
