> The Whitman-Hanson Panthers hosted Middleboro on Monday night and earned a solid victory defeating the Sachems 3-0. The game scores were 25-13, 27-25 and 25-20. Whitman-Hanson allowed the Sachems to get early leads in each of the sets but thanks to solid serving from Tori Perry (8 aces), Jordyn Keith (9 aces) and Amanda Anderson (8 aces) the Panthers were able to claw themselves back into each of the sets. The Panthers weren't able to get very much going in their attack because of challenges in their passing game but were able to capitalize on the hitting chances they had. Leading the Panther attack for the second game this season was Halle Julian who led the team with 11 kills and 7 blocks. Tri-Captain Jordyn Keith also played well at the Libero position getting 11 digs and 18 successful serve receives. The Panthers move to 1-1 on the season and travel to North Quincy on Wednesday.
