Whitman Hanson Girls soccer

 

The Whitman Hanson girls' soccer team turned in an impressive performance with a 5-2 Patriot league victory over Silver Lake. The Panthers took a 2-0 first half lead on two Eve Montgomery strikes with assists from L:auren Bonavita and Taylor Kofton. The Panthers kept the pressure on taking a 4-0 lead when Bonavita finished off a Kofton pass and Erin Wood(first varsity goal) finished off a Kofton corner. Silver Lake answered with two of their own and then Sammi Smith hit a beautiful strike to make it 5-2. Elana Wood, Carly Alexopolus, Betty Blake and Katie Korzec were great in the victory.
