> The Whitman-Hanson Panthers travelled to Rockland and played a tough match but could not overcame their struggles in serve receive to earn a victory. The game scores were 19-25, 18-25 and 21-25. The Panthers were once again hampered by difficulty in their passing game and as a result their hitters were never able to get anything going. Both teams played back forth throughout the match with each team taking leads and giving up leads, but in the end of each set Rockland was able to out serve the Panthers to earn the victory. Playing well tonight for the Panthers were Cathryn Johnson, Jordyn Keith who both played well defensively in the back row and Giulia Ruzcasio who helped keep the Panthers in the match with her tough serving. The Panthers move to 1-4 on the season and their next match is a home game against Plymouth North on Wednesday.
