The Panther golf squad was defeated by the league powerhouse Hingham Harbormen today at South Shore Country Club 242-263. The loss drops the team's record to 8-5 overall, still one win shy of qualifying for the state tournament.
Senior captain Luke Tamulevich, senior Matt Josselyn and sophomore Owen Manning all tied for the lowest team score, each carding a 6 over par, 42. Co-captain John Murphy helped keep the match to within two strokes early on with his 7 over par, but that was as close as the Panthers would come to defeating the Harbormen.
Tomorrow, the team travels to a challenging Plymouth Country Club to face off against Plymouth North. With only five matches remaining on the season, the team is determined to make the most of their opportunities.
