> The Whitman-Hanson Panthers hosted Oliver Ames for the first round of the playoffs and despite some great play weren't able to earn the victory tonight. Game scores were 25-23, 20-25, 19-25 and 22-25. The story of the match tonight was the tough serves and attack of Oliver Ames. Both teams played a great match but the Panthers weren't able to get kills in key moments and allowed the Oliver Ames attack to get rolling. The Panthers should be proud of how hard they played tonight despite the loss. Playing well for the Panthers tonight were Sophie O'Brien with 13 kills and 4 blocks, Lily Spicer with 4 kills and 2 blocks and Halle Julian with 8 kills and 8 blocks. The Panthers thank their seniors for an amazing season!
