The Panthers (2-0) placed 5 of the first 6 runners to topple Scituate (0-1) on the Sailors 2.4 Mile home course. Pacing W-H was Senior Andrew Newman who covered the course in 13:05 ahead of Scituate's Birch Swart (2nd, 13:42). W-H Senior Jack Ryan was a mere 2 seconds behind Swart at 13:44. Also scoring for W-H were FR Liam Cafferty (4th, 14:14), SR Alex Uva (5th, 14:44) and SR Cam Wilson (6th, 14:45)
Whitman-Hanson (Girls) 23 - Scituate 32
Senior Captain Nicole Norve finished first for the Panthers (1-1) who outran Scituate 23-32 on Tuesday afternoon on the Sailors home course. Norve covered the 2.4 Mile route in 16:19 to finish ahead of teammate SR Julia Cosgrave (2nd, 17:15.) Katie Milligan was Scituate's top runner placing 3rd. Also scoring for W-H were SR Captain Camryn Boyce (4th, 17:42), JR Maeve Rooney (6th, 17:57) and SO Victoria Boss (8th, 18:30.)
