The Whitman Hanson golf team toughed it out in the wet and windy conditions today against Scituate at Ridder Farm Golf Course, but couldn't bring home the victory. The match was close, but the Panthers dropped their fourth loss on the season 238-245 to the visiting Sailors.
The silver lining of today's loss was senior Anthony Palmacci played to his true potential, shooting a 1 over par, 35. Senior Nick Duffy also played well, turning in a 5 over par. After yesterday's late tie breaking win over Plymouth North, and today's close loss, the Panthers now sit at 3-4 overall and 2-4 in the league.
The team is supposed to travel to the Duxbury Yacht Club tomorrow, but Hurricane Jose might interfere.
