Whitman-Hanson hosted North Quincy Tuesday night and lost the match 3-0. The set scores were 13-25 (NQ), 9-25 (NQ) and 20-25 (NQ). The Panthers started strong in the first set but became overwhelmed with strong serving from North Quincy. Standout players for the Panthers tonight include Senior Captain Halle Julian with consistent jump serving, sophomore Ella Sweeney showing aggressive attacks at the net and breakout Freshman setter Caileen Hurley showing promise in her Varsity debut. The Panthers are now 2-11 in the season and travel to Silver Lake on Thursday.
