Whitman-Hanson traveled to Rockland Monday and lost 3-0. The set scores were 20-25(Rockland), 9-25(Rockland) and 16-25(Rockland). The Panthers held their own in the first set with Ella Sweeney making strong plays at the net in middle position. Captain Amanda Anderson came back for the first time this season from injury and made a kill on her first play. The Panthers were unfortunately unable to put anything together and struggled in defense. The Panthers are now 2-8 in the season and host Quincy Wednesday at home.
