The Panther Wrestlers improved their overall record to 4-5 and 2-1 in the Patriot league with a big win at Duxbury tonight. The meet came down to the final two matches with WH coming out on top 45-36.
Winners for the Panthers included at 106 pounds Myles McInnis with a pin at 1:39 of the first period, 126 pound Matt Butler also with a pin at 3:17 of the second period. Damari Goldsmith-Greene winning by a score of 9-5 at 132 pounds, Ben Cordingley with a pin at 1:47 of the first period. Steve Brooks had a dominating performance pinning his opponent in 3:45 of the second period at 152 pounds. Additional winners for the Panthers included Theo Kamperides at 120 pounds, Steve Osborne at 182 pounds and John Youngman at 195 pounds.
Next up is the Weymouth Invitational on Saturday January 13th.
