Field Hockey Try-Outs 2018
Tryouts for Field Hockey will be on the following dates and
times:
1.
Thursday 8/23 from 9-12
2.
Friday 8/24 from 10-12
3.
Saturday 8/25 from 12-2
All players are expected to report to the turf area by 9 am
August 23rd. Coaches will be checking
all perspective players. We will be
looking to make sure that every candidate has the following:
1.
Signed up for Field Hockey on-line at
WHathletics.com
2.
Completed the Impact Test
3.
An updated physical
All 3 of these items are mandatory in order to try out.
Players must also have the proper equipment:
1.
Field Hockey Stick
2.
Mouth Guard
3.
Field Hockey Shin Pads (not Soccer)
4.
Field Hockey Goggles (no Lacrosse)
Before we take to the turf at 10am on 8/23, returning
players are expected to run 2 miles in under 20 minutes. New players are expected to participate, but
are only required to do the best that they can.
Players will be notified on Sunday by email about the team
they will be playing on. Depending on
the number of players and positions available, cuts may need to take
place.
