Whitman-Hanson won at home today on William Spratt Field
as it beat Quincy 12-2 .
Sophomore Tommy Marshall finally got his first varsity start after 2
outstanding relief appearances. Marshal recorded his first varsity win after
going 5 innings, striking out 7, walking 3 and giving up only 3 runs, none of
them earned.
Cam Gray was outstanding in his first varsity appearance,
getting Quincy in order in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Rian Schwede, Michael Cook, Will Newell and Devin
Coulstring all had 2 hits for the Panthers.
Cole LeVangie and Chris Zalewski made outstanding plays
in the outfield to help the cause.
W-H is now 7-0 overall and 5-0 in Patriot League play.
