Field Hockey 9/05

The Whitman Hanson Field Hockey Panthers played on the road against the Plymouth North Eagles and lost 2-1.  The Eagles were able to capitalize early off of a penalty corner early in the first half, and before half time they were able to score again.  The Panthers were doing all they could to slow down the explosive Eagle offense.  Skylar Leonard, defense for the Panthers, was a stand out by taking the ball from the Eagle forwards on the right side of the field.  The second half was played with intensity by both clubs.  The Panthers were able to get a goal late in the game by Captain Lauren Clark.  The game ended with the Eagles on top 2-1.
