Senior captain Lexie Connolly helped Whitman Hanson defeat Abington in a 3-1 non-league game. Connolly's precise serve helped her end the game with a total of 8 aces, more than any other player from both teams. Fellow captain Maya Faich was another crucial player in the game digging 19 balls during serve receive. Senior Marissa Connell led the team in solo blocks with an impressive total of 4. The team is now 0-0 in the league and 1-0 overall. The girls are back in action on Monday when they face Marshfield.
