Whitman-Hanson battled it out with Marshfield, but ultimately fell 2-3 (17-25, 25-12, 25-23,25-27, 13-15). It was a big game for Junior Abby Martin who led the team in kills with 8. Trailing Martin was Junior Captain Lily Welch with 7 kills. Senior Captain Sophia Berardinelli served an impressive 6 aces and 22 assists over the course of 5 sets. The Panthers are back in action on Thursday for their first away game against Hingham.
