Whitman Hanson softball opened the season with a 5-4 road win at Duxbury in Patriot League action. The Panthers collected 16 hits with Haley Leeber, Emily McDonald, Lauryn Meade, Annie Cook, Olivia Turocy, and McKenzie Medeiros each with multiple knocks. McDonald and Leeber all had three hits to lead the Panthers.
Sophomore Haley Leeber blasted a 2 run homer in the first inning. Abby Cleary pitched a full 7 innings with 5 strike outs.
