Silver Lake Whitman Hanson had their first meet on Friday 12/16 against Scituate, both Boys and Girls swimming suffered a loss creating our  league record 0-1 . Silver Lake Whitman Hanson did have some outstanding performances. Our boys medley relay team, consisting of Matt Ward, Andrew Curtin, Wesley Hawyle and Jake Foley, placed 2nd  with a time of 2.14.50. We had a few debut first time swimmers for the team, Andrew DiBonna receiving 3rd place in the 200 IM with a time of 3.01.47, Connor O’Brian and Harrison Chase placing in 5 & 6 in the 50 Free. Jake Foley with a personal best in 100 free with a time of 1.08.50. Andrew Curtin also went his personal best in the 100 back with a time of 1.22.94. Nikhil Harrish and Kevin Sherry went personal best in the 100 freestyle with a 1.18.75 & 1.16.81. The Girls swim team also had outstanding performances, Chase Lovett placing in 4th in the 500 yard with the time of 6:45.54. Nardeen Ishak and Alex Berachi had personal bests in the 50 freestyle with a time of 43.93.& 41.53. We also had some great debuts from our new swimmers, Sasha Tereshko placing 3rd in the 100 backstroke with a 1.34.62.  Emillia Cooke and Charlotte Nourse  assisted in the 200 free relay and the 400 free relay. 

Quincy 12/20/22

Silver Lake Whitman Hanson suffered a loss against North Quincy/Quincy last night 12/20/22 creating both girls and boys Patriot League Record  0-2.  The Boys Swim put on a great performance last night coming in 2nd in the Medley Relay ( Wesley Hawley, Andrew Curtin, Jake Foley, and Matt Ward). The Boys Swim team also took 1st ( Wesley Hawley, Connor O’Brien, Matt ward & Jake Foley) and 2nd place ( Andrew DiBona, Kevin Sherry, Nikhil Harish, & Andrew Curtin)  in the 200 freestyle relay with the times of 2.05.53 & 2.20.02.  The Boys Swim Team also had many personal best times, Jake Foley in the 50 freestyle with a time of 30.01, and Nakhil Harish in the 50 freestyle with a time of 30.78. Wesley Hawley had a personal best in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1.03.62, and Connor O’Brien personal best in the 100 Freestyle with a 1.22.44. Nakhil Harish also had a personal best in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1.33.57

The girls swim team also had a great performance last night claiming second place in the 200 freestyle relay ( Anna Billings, Ava Mctighe-Tassinari, Josephine Eldridge, & Brielle Shelly) with a time of 2.13.57. The girls swim team also had personal best times. Briell Shelly in the 100 Fly with a time of 1.09.75. Emillia Cooke also had a personal best in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1.24.46. Emily Benson also had a personal best in the 100 backstroke with a 2.01.08. SIlver Lake Whitman Hanson next meet will be held on January 5, 2022 vs Plymouth North at 7:30 pm.
